New Blue Trail under construction at Cwmcarn Forest

Trail builders Architrail have busy at Cwmcarn Forest in South Wales developing a new blue graded trail aimed to connect the existing two XC trails.

Pictured above is the final descent down into the carpark, close to the Twrch and Y Mynydd final sections.

There will be some other new sections of trail going in around the park, with the aim to connect the Twrch and Cafall trails, to make a much bigger loop.

We are not sure of the opening date but it probably won't be long now. Please respect the trail builders efforts and stay off the trails until the officially open.
