Login/Sign UpYch a Fi officially opens Monday 22nd September – a full top-to-bottom red tech MTB trail starting next to Boomslang and taking you straight back to the uplift for another lap.
This new downhill trail is spicy, natural and technical: expect steep descents, tight tree sections, loose off-camber traverses, twisting corners, root gardens, and for the first time ever at BPW – North Shore features!
Ych a Fi is a trail that changes with the seasons – think mud, slick roots and ruts through the winter, then grippy dirt and loam in the summer. Sitting at the tougher end of BikePark Wales’ red trails, it’s perfect for riders looking for a technical, natural-style ride with plenty of flow and fun.
To showcase it properly, we invited Alex Storr – known for his loose, effortless style – to be the first down the trail. Filmed by Tommy C, this captures the raw terrain and gives you a true feel of what to expect from this exciting new addition to the bike park.
