High Jinks was created throughout the year of 2024, the mission was to keep pushing.

Creativity has always given me a purpose, it’s an urge which comes from within. After lighting the fire of music creation, i subconsciously began to hear rhythm in all walks of life - the same way my brain see’s rideable lines in our landscapes, cities and surroundings. I feel an ever burning desire to showcase the constant learnings picked up along this journey, it’s this which motivates me to keep creating films - i want to put into practice the new stuff i have learnt, be it on the bike or in the studio.

Building features to ride excites me, when it's with P the excitement is particularly amplified. We try to play with the capabilities of mountain bikes and our own capabilities whilst riding them. We start with an idea, the ideas get kicked around some, and we end up with something that's beautifully scary. Tired and callused, it's truly a joy like no other finally riding the results of your labour.

The music was created side by side with the video in a very unique creative process, upon reflection, the finished music project was very much dictated by the energy of the riding and having the riding as an inspiration for the music really helped me churn out some tunes, watching the clips in the studio and feeling the energy helped my brain to hear the sounds that i believe matched the riding and this is sometimes an area of vacant creative inspiration - the riding kickstarted the inspiration of energy.

I am super proud of what we have been able to create and would never have been able to do this on my own - thanks to all my close ones who help lift me up and support me on these projects. Josh, P man, Jim, Ralph, Sammy, Pales, Dave, Pol, Max, James, Oscar, Jonny - Thank you all for coming out and helping me in your own way. Thanks to Scor and Marzocchi for helping fund the project.

Until next time… Loose x
