Mike Jones was sadly unable to ride due to a pretty nasty looking hand injury - and was visibly gutted to not be taking part in the national event, especially with it being held so close to his home town!
Joe Smith did compete. He was not only confident in his ability and speed through the course - but backed up his confidence with a 1st place at the Welsh Valley stage!!
Massive congratulations to Joe and the team on a fantastic win at BDS and a great season!
