had a change of plans on where we are going again this weekend now. I wish I could make my mind up. Going to head to the newly remade Heywood BMX track its only about a 15 min drive from my house. Will give me the 1st chance to ride the msisle properly as its just being used for commuting at the moment. Weather has been a little better this week so hopefully you'll not get poured on tomorrow when you head out if you still are.

many thanks for that. hopefully it will be positive. I have not been on a decent xc ride for a long time now mainly due to not having the bike for it. Shame as well as where i have just moved to is right in the hills and has some great routes that I've ridden in the past. Though i have promised the missus i would not get another bike as 3 is enough. I might end up putting gears back on the msisle at some point so i can go over the hills on it. Have you ever ridden near Blackstone Edge its on the Pennine bridleway. Its quite rocky and peaty but a lot of fun. If your ever up this way give me a shout and ill be happy to show you around even if I'm on the single speed.

think we are heading to Llandegla this weekend now instead from the looks of things. Getting muddy for a good cause at least. Did you manage to have a chat with Carl at all? You out riding this weekend?

Hi and thanks for the reply. Sadly ive not managed to get out this weekend on the bike. Spent all my time with the missus as shes away all next weekend. Another member off here is getting a new bike this week so we are going to go on a mini roadtrip for a day and see how many places we can get too. Just going to find a few 4x/bmx tracks skateparks as its a single speed hardtail he is getting. So their in lies my dilemma, do i take the bmx or the hardtail or both haha. no doubt the dh bike will get left at home for the day. Although if this rain continues ill need a boat. The trains were even cancelled the other day due to flooding, luckily i can work from home if such a situation arrises. DI you manage to get out this weekend?

Hello there mate, long time no speak. The trail pic's you have added look like a nice ride. How are things anyway? Not sure if I'm asking in the right place or if their is even a place for it but I thought you might be a good starting point. What are the chances of me getting more involved with More Dirt? I spend a fair bit of time on the site and from being an administrator on a fair few forums and a moderator on others myself already (albeit smaller than this one) I know that I share the same views as the mods on here as to what is acceptable and what is not as far as user behaviour/site content etc are concerned. I also work as a programmer so could come in handy for helping with and future mods to the site if needed. It is most likely just a shot in the dark but you never know unless you ask.
