Worth a visit, pick a dry day

Review:
Gisburn red is a bit disjointed, and very slippy in the wet.
I will be back in the dry to hit it a bit harder than I could in the lashing rain.
Some tricky sections to make up for the boring fire road bashing.
Watch out in the car park, Land Rovers seem to be targeted by gangs of car thieves.

A Dam Good Day Out

Review:
Been riding Gisburn forest for a while now on and off over the years. we decided to go again today 08/04/11 after a year out as it was getting a litle boring with the majority being fire roads.

I have to say this place is amazing now and full credit to all the team thats made some of the single track a dream to ride, Its now a great mix of fire roads Dh,Single track and Xc that keeps you on your toes the whole way round. Even the shorter Blue route is not to be under estimated witch the red route follows quite a bit.

Only downside is the lack of parking and a toilet but but if you get there early we always manages=d to find a spot, And theres always plenty of woods if you really need to pay a visit.

Great ride will be back and its only half an hour from us, thumbs up.

a good doo

Review:
only 40mins away and with free parking i can't go wrong. A fantastic trail with a good mix of tech and trail, from windy singletrack to fireroads it is good for all abilities to improve on handling as in the wet it can be tricky with exposed roots and slippery rocks. there is a good couple of lung busting climbs but you are rewarded with fantasic views over the bowland forest and resevoir. hully gully is an adrenaline rush with its its steep banked turns and it will catch out the unwary in the wet. All in all a great place to ride

FANTASTIC!

Review:
Trail makes figure of eight so you can just ride either half if you're stuggling for fitness or new to the sport. Been riding this weekly for a while now, 1 hour drive to get to it is well worth the effort!

I ride this in all seasons and love it as much in the snow as I do in the dusty summer. Awesome place.

Hully Gully is the cherry on top for me!
