Review:
We came to the track all the way from Bournemouth, we had a really great day, staff were really friendly and were interested in our riding background!
We felt the jumps were well maintained and the site was set out well.
The weathers was great, little windy but the sun was out.
It was great to really push our dirt jumping skills, would highly recommend The Track at portreath.

The track has undergone a massive face lift. The national standard BMX track, now has international sized jumps and the locals are practising for the Worlds in May.

The dirt jump section, must have nearly 50 jumps, starting from tiny tabletops tops, which I've seen 4 year olds hitting, up to Pro sized competition jumps. I ride the medium park, which are perfectly shaped and true 'doubles' without the gap (if that is possible). There is something for everyone in the DJ's, loads of different lines to had. You will also see some excellent riders there, who are all friendly and not bothered how good you are.

Other stuff there is a massive foam pit, with a tarmac run in. A resi ramp for practicing your next trick, once you have it dialled in the foam pit. The resi ramp also has a quarter bike behind it and to either side and you will see riders practising their 'flares' on to it. There is a mini half pipe to, in the tarmac area.

The other new additions are the multi line pump track and the wall ride at the end of the DJ section. The idea being that you ride which ever line you like through the jumps (easy to expert) end up at the pump track, have a pump around to build speed and then try and pump back to the top of the jumps!

With a beach only a couple of miles down the road, camp sites nearby, beach bars nearby, you could easily go to Cornwall for the week ride here everyday, hit the beaches and go home, miles better than you were and maybe even a tan!

I'm going to get some photos, next time I go down and visit family and put them on here. I'm mostly a trail rider, but when I leave Cornwall I'm usually a much better dirt jumper and rider.

Can't recommend this friendly bike park enough.
