Gravel and dirt single track

Review:
Decent enough trail with a scenic views of sourounding area (both from the top of the hill where Dundonald Castle sits above start of trail & at the resevoir near then end of the forest trail). Very steep climb when entering from Dundonald side (gradient 1:6), more fun when coming back down on way back. Nice decent down towards the resevoir. Some alternative paths off the main track can be explored but can by quite difficult to navigate unless experienced & fit(some dead ends, overgrown tracks, very steep). As it is a woodland trail, mainly for walking, there is no purpose built TTF's.
