La Thuiel is very steep and consequently, apart from the top plateau, it's all very steep. The blacks are an eye opener and you need to look at them before you charge down or you will probably end up in trouble. The reds are very challenging as well. I loved what I rode although I didn't cover all the mountain. Quite frankly it's huge and even an experienced rider would need 2/3 full days to get really stuck. I will be going back...
