Not very rewarding

The uphill slog at the start earns you some great riding, but once you get about half way round that all stops. Really it's all uphill from there, with the occasional 10s burst of actually going downhill, but nothing inspiring and it's almost impossible to carry any of this speed. The fun of the earlier sections will quickly be forgotten.

Great fun, definately coming back!

I would have no hesitation in recommending the trail to anyone. It should satisfy most peoples adrenaline needs without being so technical as to exclude anyone of average ability. The trail has got some excellent jumps and switch backs, as well as some good fast downhill sections, I just wished there was more of it!

It's a great day

We included the black sections aswell and those are really what stick in my mind. However, I recall the whole day out as being really good and the black bits only account for a small section so the rest must have been high quality aswell. I would recommend doing the black sections aswell (unless it's a busy day and your going to hold people up). There is only one drop that you might have to get off and carry the bike down. I don't think the red route alone was quite at the Dalby forest standard, but still well worth the long distance drive.

I went to this place having never heard of it and not knowing what to expect, what I found was a top notch trail centre with well marked out routes that tested both stamina and technical ability. This place has everything, long and short climbs to burn the legs and plenty of fast, well flowing downhill sections which included, berms tabletops and even a little bit of north shore that leaves your heart pumping and wanting more.
The trail was 20km which was just about the right length, nott too much but definatly worth the drive to get there.
