Summary:
Surprising good freeride/ dh

Review:
Gisburn forest is huge. The red trail is less than basic. Fire road must equal 80%.
But we spoke to the bulider who is putting alot of work into the freeride side of things. It starts with multiple technical tracks to choose, which lead into an good sized gap jump. ( Not matching the forestry commision's usuall take on health and safety). Next are te drop off's, 4 to choose which in turn lead onto 3 different tracks. Lots of drop off's on course and good use of terrain. If you like to get air and scare your self in the woods, then get down to Gisburn. May goodthings to come.

The New Trails Are Looking Good!

Review:
There not finished yet but there's a lot of volunteer work going on at the moment.

Contact [email protected] if you want to get involved with the dig days.

The total project cost estimated by Rowen Sorrel is £446,536.73

Work is currently taking place on the red trail, and although a large portion of work will be completed by contractor, there is quite of lot of work that needs to be done by volunteers.

The dig days are fortnightly and are rotated between Saturday's and Sunday's, they run from 10am - 2pm

More than meets the eye!!

Review:
Ride it anti-clockwise: lots of fireroad, bit of singletrack. However, look to the sides of the road and find good downhill sections, a rock trials park, and plenty of technical singletrack. 5 for the "Red route", 9 for what's not on the route map - some bits are as good as 7Stanes, such as the freeride bit!!
