Review:
Great ride on this trail with some fast flowing minor downhill sections. Good step up from say the Ridge Ride at Haldon. Technical support at hand during summer season wkend and a great cafe in the converted woodmans cottage.

I've been here many years before, but I'm getting back into mtb now after a 20 absence. After a lot of searching, I found the trails people have been talking about and to be honest, some of the jumps on a couple of the trails are far beyond my capabilities, but if you have balls of steel, get yourself down there. There are a number of trails to choose from and some are not quite as mental as others, so a good day out can be had by novices too. To get there, I rode the plymbridge cycle track from the park and ride car park at Marsh Mills, then took a right through a wooden gated entrance to Cann Woods (it's signposted so you can't miss it. Climb the slope then you'll see the exit of a trail. Climb that until you come to a dirt road, climb that then go left.

Only being round the corner from me it's a great place to ride. So many different trails around to ride to build your skills up on. Spent a bit of time building up some parts of the trails but could really do with an organised dig day to get this place back up to scratch

I heard about this place through a friend and it did not disappoint! It was definitely worth the journey. Good quality trails with plenty to choose from and all difficulties.i would definitely recommend this place if you haven't ridden it yet!

I've been MTBing for about 6 months and I'm lucky enough to live a 15 min ride from Cann. It's worth asking some locals where the good stuff is, Cann is a big place and you could ride around aimlessly for a while otherwise. There is a trail here for pretty much everyone bar the total beginner, I reckon you need a little bit of off road experience to make the most of it. The DH trails have some massive jumps and are beyond my skills at the moment, but there's plenty of other stuff so don't worry if you're not Steve Peat! There are some quite techy trails and some more flowing ones but they are all nicely done and really enjoyable. If you come when it's wet it will be very muddy but it's always good fun.
