The Nevis Range Mountain Bike Trail Centre is on the Nevis range in the Lochaber region just North of Fort William in the Scottish Highlands.

From thrilling downhill runs to flowy lower trails, Nevis Range is a mountain biker’s playground! Whether you’re hitting the Gondola Bike Uplift for world-class descents, cruising our lower trails, or sharpening your skills on the pump track and skills loops, there’s something for every rider. Get ready to ride, explore, and push your limits in the heart of the Scottish Highlands!

Lower XC Mountain Bike Trails

The network of trails around Nevis Range known as the Lower Forest Trails incorporate a mixture of grades to suit all abilities. These trails can be enjoyed by your whole family and are a great way to enjoy the beautiful Scottish Highlands!

Blue Adder – Blue Graded

Tight, twisty, fast and fun! Packed with berms and rollers, Blue Adder is a favourite here at Nevis Range.

Voodoo – Blue Graded

The perfect step up for novice mountain bikers. Forest single track leads to open berms with a chance to let the brakes off.

Wild Goat – Red Graded

The only way to end a days riding at Nevis Range! Fast and bermy, it’s the perfect end to a rough lap down Top Chief. There is also a side option to ride the World Cup 4X track.

World Champs – Red Graded

From fast and loose corners to tight single track, World Champs has it all. Perfect for a longer trail ride with stunning views from the top!

Black Crane – Black Graded

Steep, fast and committing, with a long rock garden giving way to natural rooty trail. You have to work hard to find your flow here!

Gondola Uplift Downhill Trails

Nevis Range is the home of the only Gondola Uplift downhill trails in the UK! We have 3 trails accessible from the top station.

Blue Doon

An Intermediate level flow trail. Blue Doon is one of the longest Blue trails in the UK so get ready to hold on! Blue Doon is incredible fun and you will definitely find the Nevis Range staff here during their days off!

Top Chief

This is a true classic! With committing drops, rock slabs and fast boardwalks there’s a lot to keep experienced riders on their toes.

Downhill World Cup Track

A challenge for the best in the world! The UK’s only World Cup DH track is long, rough and not for the faint hearted.

Pump Tracks and Skills Loops

Welcome to our dedicated biking areas at Nevis Range, where we offer a variety of specifically designed tracks and zones to cater to all skill levels and biking preferences.

One Dot – Orange Graded

This is a great beginners jumper line within some gentle berms. All the jumps are rollable to allow you to build confidence.

4X Track – Black Graded

Featuring a series of big jumps and gnarly turns for up to 4 riders at a time.
