Burnwood Pump Track

Burnwood Pump Track is located at the Burnwood Primary School, Stoke-on-Trent, and features an all-weather surfaced pump track suitable for all ages and abilities.

Built by Clark and Kent Contractors, the 120 metre long track features asphalt turns, a start hill, and a return path, as well as a stone sub-base and dolomite surfacing.

There are no official opening hours. Visitors can ride at any time, as this facility, located on school grounds, has been made freely available to the public. The nearest public parking is located on Chell Heath Road, and visitors are kindly asked to be mindful of local residents and school drop-off times.

What is a pump track used for?

A pump track is a small but intense circuit of rolling bumps, tabletop jumps, and bermed corners designed to be ridden continuously without pedalling by using weight shifts (pumping) and gravity. Pump tracks are great for developing skills and improving your technique, whether you’re a beginner or an expert.
