Trail Community

Watchmoor Wood Mountain Bike Park features a variety of North Shore (raised timber) sections and a pump track, this is an ideal place for riders with some experience to develop and practice their technical skills. The bike park has some severe features, and is suitable for intermediate to advanced cyclists.

The Pump Track is a sculptured track that includes berms and dips and encourages the rider to “pump” their way around the track with limited pedalling.

Take the Ashley Heath turning off the A31 just West of Ringwood (Moors Valley Country Park is signposted with a brown tourism signpost). Go through Ashley Heath and the park entrance is situated on the right just as you come out of the village. Unfortunately no bus takes you to the entrance of the park, but the X34 bus from Bournemouth and Ringwood takes you to Ashley Heath. From there it is a 1/2 mile walk to the visitor centre.
