Cwmcarns new Downhill Track follows the line of the old club built trail down a steep side valley in the forest. Access is via the Cafall XC trail or you can use the uplift service.
The trail finishes off with a steep and fast jumps section before arriving back at the uplift pick up point. Body armour and full face helmets are strongly advised for this Extreme graded Downhill trail. This Extreme graded downhill trail is for experienced riders only. The trail drops 250m through the steep hillsides of Cwmcarn. An Uplift pass is available by booking with www.cwmdown.co.uk. [Private Uplifts are not permitted]
This track offers some steep technical sections combined with a very fast open section near the bottom. Pretty much everything on this track is rollable, and there are a number of line choices so you don’t always have to take the big air option. However there are some lager features like the gap jumps and some of the drop offs that you should check out before you ride them.
