Cambusbarron Woods and North Third represent two mountain biking destinations that can be connected to create a great day of riding.
Located in Stirling, these combined areas provide riders with an excellent variety of terrain including single track paths, short downhill sections, dirt jumps, drops, and wooden features.
This area features both technical and flowing single-track trails with numerous line options available. The trail descends into the quarry, where riders can travel south to connect with the North Third trail network. The descent offers various downhill features including North Shore-style elements, jumps of different sizes, and drops for riders seeking technical challenges. Within the quarry, riders will find a well-maintained progression of dirt jumps.
Near by North Third offers a good mix of fireroad and singletrack - the singletrack ranges from twisty, technical and rooty to smooth and winding. The cliff tops make a great place for some technical singletrack climbing. Both areas make a great day out!
From Stirling head South to St Ninians, when in St. Ninians head West to Cambusbarron. You can park your car at the old quarry in Cambusbarron.
