The Trafford Pump Track located in Manchester was redesigned in 2011 by BikeTrack.org. The Track features doubles berms and rollers and is a complete loop so circuits can be performed.
The Track can also be ridden in either direction, this helps keep local riders interested in the facility by being able to try riding the obstacles in different combinations.
Leave the M60 at Junction 8, there's only one exit off the roundabout (A6144). Follow the A6144 for approximately 1 mile until you come to a set of traffic lights, turn left onto Carrington Lane. The road almost doubles back on itself, travel approximately 200 meters and take the first right onto Heatherway (careful there's a speed camera on the left hand side). Travel approximately 250 meters and take your 5th right onto Epping Drive. Follow the road and just after the right corner take the first left onto Hornbeam Close. The park is at the end of this road, you can't quite see the track from the road but walk onto the park and it's right there. straight ahead of you.
Please note: Distance is calculated as air distance or "as the crow flies" the most direct route between two points, so the distance by road maybe slightly longer.
