Nestling on the edge of the Peak District, Lyme Park is a National Trust owned property was once home to the Legh family and, in its heyday a great sporting estate.
The 1,400 acre estate with its medieval herd of red deer offers fantastic walks and stunning views. Cycling is allowed on the designated paths only.
For the more adventurous, cycle over and around The Knott, where the old workings provide challenge and interest for the more experienced mountain biker.

Lyme Park lies just off the A6 road between Buxton and Manchester, near the village of Disley. Car park: £3.80 - refunded if you purchase an adult house/gardens ticket.
