Average Joe Reviews.... Dirtworker

Dirty bikes equal dirty cars; pretty simple maths huh! If you don't have a an outside tap and you don't want to run a garden hose through the house then you have probably spent many an hour like me with a brush and a bucket of soapy water and that never does the trick fully.

Some trail centres have jet washes but there is always a queue and they cost you at least 50p a go. Most riding areas don't have a jet wash however and thus normally you are faced with returning your muddy offering to the car. If you have the type of car that is knee deep in pizza boxes then you probably don't mind but if your car is your pride and joy or used to transport children then you are rapidly gonna get on the wrong side of the missus. The solution is most definitely Dirtworker!
Normally when something seems too good to be true then it is, but in this case Dirtworker came down the chimney for me at xmas and I haven't looked back. Simply fill the unit up with water, plug the lead into the cigarette lighter and the hose into the nozzle and away you go. You can pretty much do one very dirty bike or two lightly soiled machines (or as many as you want if you can find a tap).
The unit runs at 70psi so you aren't going to get the kind of pressure you get from a regular jet-washer but it is enough juice. Mine sits in the boot all the time and is ready to rumble when I need it. The dirtworker has actually meant that I wash my bikes more regularly making them less prone to rust and general gunk build up and as another spin off it is a great posing item. Simply open up the boot, plug it in and away you go.
Might seem pricy compared to a cheap jet-washer but when you are loading the bike back in the car in the arse-end of nowhere, you wont regret it. Well worth the money!
