"stupidly grippy, like almost spd feeling.... bad with water tho, mesh tongue prob suits american climate better! (however a plastic bag flap slotted behind laces does help alot!)"

"i have the hi boot version, made the change from spd pedals after doing to many cartwheels clipped to my bike, these shoes inspire confidence and also make you ride the bike correctly unlike the robotic movement of spd's"
