With the likes of Kye Forte (creator of Red Bull Empire of Dirt) and Dave Wardell (Course creator) competing, the standards of riding were world-class. However, it was Josh Bryceland from Manchester who rose above the rest and battled through the competition to take first place in a blistering time of 21.96 seconds. Trailing just behind in a close second was Lewis Lacey from Bournemouth, with course creator and hot-favourite Dave Wardell from Whitby claiming the final place on the podium.

Charge Bikes created 12 custom made 29” rides specifically for the event, these brand new bikes allowed the riders to reach speeds of up to 30mph as they cut through the wheat.

Nick Larson of Charge Bikes said “The whole event today has been amazing; we have seen some brilliant riding from all the competitors, especially some of the amateur guys really pushing the professionals to the limits. Red Bull have pulled off a competitive event and made it fun, the weather certainly helped too”.

Red Bull Weavers winner Josh Bryceland said “It’s been such a great day, the weather has been awesome and the competition has been so strong. I never thought riding through a corn-field would be so fun.”
