Martin Soderstrom in Barcelona

Martin Söderström has always had a problem getting enough hours on the bike during the winter season in snowy Sweden. This year was no different, but when him and videographer, Simon Berggren, went to Barcelona for eleven days he made the best out of it. It looks like the break from the bike only did him good and he looks better prepared then ever for this season!

Martin’s thoughts about the project:

“I have taken part in many edits and movies over the years, but they have always been filmed for someone else and kind of on other peoples’ terms. But this time I just felt like doing a video for myself, where I could decide where to ride, when to ride and to ride without any pressure and just have fun filming for the edit. That is also why there are only three different spots in the movie, because those were the three spots I enjoyed riding the most.”

“The technical riding in Barcelona was also the perfect preparation for the first stops of the FMB World Tour. Definitely reached all of my goals for this edit, now I feel prepared and am very proud of what me and Simon managed to come up with.”

“This project would never have been possible without my amazing sponsors for 2012. I can’t thank them enough!”

“Stay tuned for the next edit from Hafjell bikepark in June, where I will ride to prepare myself for the bigger slopestyle contests and maybe even Red Bull Rampage.”
