Hotlines had brought the entire Nukeproof range to the show including the all new Pulse downhill frame the Chain Reaction team riders were ripping last year! It looks even better in the flesh!

They also had the Rook Slopestyle bike with funky downtube mounted shifter to keep the cables out of the way when your spinning the bars.

On the hotlines they had a Nukeproof Scalp modelling a very fetching new pair of 2013 Manitou Dorado upside down forks that had an all new lower price that came in a smudge under £900

The new Leatt body armour was on show which means finally you can run armour that is fully compatible with the ever popular Leatt Brace.

You will also now be able to rock some rad new colours on your Leatt brace with the new pad sets that are now available!

While we are on the subject of colourful parts and gear some new chain devices were on show from Blackspire with a new silent lower slider set up.

The lower part of the guide no lon ger uses a pulley or jockey wheel instead it uses replaceable wear pads to provide silent performance. This arrangement is now used on all the guides across the range.

The guys from lapierre were on hand to give us a walk through on the new E:I suspension system that is on offer on some of their higher end bikes. Heres a quick snap of the Rock shox E:I Relay unit that can adjust settings between 3 positions on the fly all from a fancy trip computer.

You can find all of our snaps from the Core Bike in the gallery here...
