A five event open cross country race series held on Sundays during January to April. The series sponsor for 2011 is Saddle Skedaddle who specialise in cycling holidays. There will be a number of mountain bike holidays to be won in prize draws at individual rounds, so everyone aged over 18 who enters a race has a chance of winning.
Trophies are awarded to the top 10% in each category, minimum 1st and 2nd, except Expert who will receive cash prizes at each event of the series. Trophies will be engraved with winners' names and will be available for collection at the following event or posted if requested.
Series points are awarded to the top 15 finishers in each category. You only need three points scoring rounds to qualify but the more races you complete in a top position the better your chance of winning a great prize. Series prizes for the winners of each category are presented at the final round of the series and are generously provided by local mountain bike retailers. There are races but no series prizes for Under 12's, Fun or Beginners.
