Round 4 of the series takes place deep in Shropshire at Eastridge Woods. Hosted by Torq Performance, the 2014 XCO Champs takes place at a venue steeped in mtb history and continues to be the breeding ground of world class riders. With the Champs status increasing the ranking points on offer, this also gives the Torq Perfromance team the opportunity to ramp up the technical challenge of the course to find worthy winners of the crown!
Cross-Country (XCE)˙ races are held over multiple laps of an undulating circuit and have evolved massively in recent years: Races are shorter and more intense, with power and technical skill now as important as fitness to be successful. Expect everything from blazing fast descents, to sweet singletrack and lung searing climbs, giving everyone the chance to shine. You don't need a race license to take part and the series attracts everyone from first-timers to seasoned Olympians!
