Join the Cafeside MTB team for a volunteer dig day helping to repair and improve the trails at Cafeside MTB Bike Park.
Recent volunteer sessions have restored features around the Slush Puppy jump area and its B-line. Work is expected to continue on Slush Puppy before progressing to About Time and Rusty Pram, although the exact tasks will depend on trail conditions and priorities on the day.
Volunteers may help with trail and feature repairs, installing gates and other improvements around the site. Tools and equipment will be provided, and no previous trail-building experience is required.
The session will run from 10am until approximately 3pm. Please bring food and drink, along with clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for working in woodland, on uneven or muddy ground and in changeable weather. Gloves, boots and trousers are recommended.
Volunteers under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the day. At least one first aider will be present during the session.
Places must be requested using the October dig-day availability form. Cafeside MTB will confirm places and meeting details before the event, so please do not arrive unless you have received confirmation.
Please note: Cafeside MTB Bike Park is not currently open for riding. Volunteers must not ride the trails during or after the dig day.
