DEWALT Tradie Champs comes to Dyfi Bike Park on 28–29 October 2026 for two days of downhill racing to crown the UK’s fastest tradie.
Two days of downhill racing will bring together the mountain bike and trade communities to find the fastest tradie on the hill.
Dyfi Bike Park will host the first race in its history this October, as the DEWALT Tradie Champs brings two days of downhill racing, riding and trade rivalry to one of the UK's best riding destinations.
Taking place on 28th-29th October 2026, the event has been created by Dyfi Bike Park, Atherton Bikes and DEWALT as a celebration of the people who spend their working week building, fixing and making, before heading for the trails at the weekend.
Around 100 riders are expected to line up, competing not only for the overall win, but for the title of Fastest Tradie.
Electricians, plumbers, mechanics, carpenters, landscapers, builders and riders from across the wider trades are all invited to enter, with members of the Continental Atherton Team and a few familiar faces from the UK mountain bike scene also expected to put down a time.
The event begins with sign-on, track walk and practice on 28th October, before riders regroup for food, music and DEWALT activities in the evening.
Thursday sees final practice followed by racing, before the first-ever Tradie Champ is crowned.
While the atmosphere will be a little more relaxed than a World Cup weekend, the racing itself will be run as a proper downhill event, with professional timing, marshals, medical cover and a dedicated race track.
Alongside the overall honours, riders will also be battling for trade bragging rights, with final trade categories confirmed once entries have closed.
Away from the racing, DEWALT will be bringing product displays, demos and challenges alongside great food, music and plenty of time for riders to catch up once the day's riding is done.
