Okeford Champs Downhill Race

Get ready for a day of downhill racing at Okeford Hill Bike Park as the Okeford Champs returns on Sunday 27 September 2026.

The 2026 race is planned to take place on Pott Luck, one of Okeford Hill's steeper and more challenging downhill tracks. Packing around 120 metres of vertical drop into a race run of approximately 1½ minutes, riders can expect a short, fast and demanding test against the clock.

Pott Luck will be closed ahead of the event before opening for informal practice on Saturday 26 September.

On race day, each rider will get two practice runs followed by two timed race runs, with Land Rover and trailer uplift provided to get riders back to the top.

Podium prizes are being provided by event sponsors, while food, coffee, toilets and free parking will be available on site.

Okeford Hill is also looking for volunteers and marshals to help with the event – contact the organisers directly if you'd like to get involved.
