Penicuik House Trails

Join Hervélo Cycling for an evening mountain bike ride exploring the trails around Penicuik.

Starting from Penicuik Shopping Centre Car Park, the ride will cover approximately 20km with around 500m of climbing. Expect a good pace on the climbs followed by a more relaxed approach to the descents.

The majority of the ride will take place after dark, so full night-riding lights are essential. A hardtail mountain bike is recommended for the route.

There are no planned stops, so riders should bring their own snacks and water. The exact route will be decided on the night.
