Returning as part of the Aberdour Festival, Scotland’s original summer cyclo-cross is back for 2026. Expect fast, fun racing, festival crowds, cowbells, air horns and organised chaos from start to finish.
A true highlight of the summer CX calendar, this is also the perfect entry point for anyone new to the sport, welcoming, accessible, and packed with atmosphere. We can't promise mud and snow, but we can promise a great time.
Festival Atmosphere All Day
More than just racing - this is a full festival experience with the famous Festival BBQ and rustic, authentic wood-fired pizza from the ever-popular Wood Oven Wonders, all-day catering, coffee from Brew Box Coffee, a festival bar with beers on tap, and trade stands featuring brands including Vittoria Tyres, Genesis Bikes, Ridgeback and Lazer.
There are demo bikes available throughout the day, plus junior racing and grassroots events to keep things buzzing from start to finish.
Entry
Entry starts from just £8 for kids with full adult race entry at £30 - and it’s packed with value.
For £30, you get two guaranteed races, the Dual Slalom showdown plus 'Race 1' or 'Race 2’ entry. The top 60 riders from Race 1 and Race 2 advance to the Final.
In addition to all the two-wheel action, a free burger from the BBQ after racing, and free entry to the Family Ceilidh, PLUS a finisher medal for every rider.
There’s also the chance to win a Pedal Power pint glass for best midfielder, and podium riders in the men’s and women’s categories could take home up to £500 in prize money*.
This isn’t just a race entry, it’s a full day of racing, atmosphere, food, and post-race celebration — whether you’re chasing the podium or just in it for the craic.
*Prize pot dependent on the number of entries.
