The Silver Falls XC Mountain Bike Race features a course that takes racers out 1.2 miles on the Howard Creek Loop, up Smith Creek Trail, Buck Mountain Loop and Lost Creek Trail before reaching the top of the featured trail, the Catamount. After descending the Catamount Trail racers will then go down Rabbit Hole at which point short course racers will head back to the start/finish area via Howard Creek Loop and long course racers will head back up Smith Creek Trail for one more lap, respectively, before they too head to the finish via Howard Creek Loop. Please note that this is an occupied open to the public State Park trail system. You may encounter hikers, runners and other non-race riders on the course. Please observe trail etiquette and be respectful.
