Pedal Progression Xmas Ride Out

We love a ride out and what better excuse than to get together for an Xmas ride. If you’ve never joined one of our social group rides before here’s what to expect. 

Bristol Shredders Mountain Bike Club are putting on a Treasure Hunt for kids in the afternoon - go check out there page for more info. 

We’ll stick to purpose built tracks, you’ll have a choice of blue (beginner/ intermediate) or Red (for more experienced riders) routes. If lots of people show up (we normally expect between 5 and 20 people) we may split into two groups and offer one that takes in some more difficult trails. No need to sign up, here’s the plan.

• Arrive at 10:30
• Meet and greet, split into groups if there are lots of us 
• Go for a ride -  no one left behind
• Return to Pedal Progression for Mulled Wine & mince pies

What to bring: 

• A mountain bike (if you don’t have your own you can hire one)
• Dress for the weather 
• Dress up you and bike Christmassy if you like! 
• Helmet (if you don’t have your own you can hire one on the day)

This ride is a social ride, not formally guided. We’ll have some of our team there to help if you need it. But the decisions you make on the day are your own. If you are comfortable riding blue trails you’ll be fine. This ride is for adults and older kids who ride adult sized bikes 14+ plus. Under 18s need to be accompanied by an adult.
