South West Cyclo-Cross provide a competitive but fun environment for all ages and abilities with events across Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.
We return to Perranporth Airfield for the first time since 2017 and the first race of 2026 — the perfect way to burn off the Christmas turkey! Set on the dramatic* North Cornwall cliffs, this classic venue offers fast grass, gravel tracks, and the legendary sand bowl.
Expect big views, big winds, and bigger efforts. Round 9 of the South West Cyclocross League with races for all ages and abilities.
New riders and first-timers welcome — just bring a helmet and a bike with grippy tyres.
SWCX is open to all cyclists and cycling clubs. Non-league members are welcome to compete but only those who join the league will be allocated League points. Fees enable the league to purchase key race infrastructure. By joining the league you will be gridded and receive your own set of race numbers (meaning you can put those numbers on in the warm the night before!)
