This Hope Women ride out is in collaboration with Pace Cycles and we'll be heading out on a ride in Dalby Forest. Come join us!

Date and time:Thursday 12th June 2025. We aim to meet at the car park In Thornton Le Dale from 4.30pm, wheels rolling by 5pm.

Location: Thorton Le Dale Car Park, 5 Chestnut Ave, Thornton Dale, Pickering YO18 7RR

Nature of Ride:

Ride Out 1: We'll head out on some of the way marked and off piste natural trails in Dalby Forest. As a rough guide the ride will be of red grade in difficulty. The loop intended is roughly 15km and we'll be out for a couple of hours. The pace will be leisurely, so don't worry about getting left behind! The ride is suitable for e-bikes, hardtail mountain bikes and full suspension mountain bikes.

Ride Out 2: This ride will be on forestry tracks and easy singletrack, more of an XC loop for those who don't want to do the off pitse trails in Dalby.

Both rides will be led and joined by a Hope Technology & Pace representatives. The purpose of the ride is to guide the groups around the trails and not to coach riders.

Helmets are mandatory and you must provide them yourself.

Cost £5

This year taking part in a Hope WMN ride will cost £5. This is to ensure we are suitably prepared and staffed for the number of attendees. You will receive some goodies for attending the event and the £5 ticket fee will be donated to Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue.
