Hamsterley Forest - New Blue Trail Volunteer Day

New blue mountain bike trail, opening spring 2025

Join our friendly volunteer team and make new friends as we install a brand new blue cycle trail here in the forest and create new opportunities for wildlife.

Activities you can get involved in include:

• Creating reptile habitats to provide more areas for them to hide or bask.
• Supporting Bird nest box installation
• Clearing rest and picnic areas along the route.
• Installing signage and waymarking and improving trail surfacing.
