Wine n Wheels - Oaken Grove Vineyard

The first event in our Vineyard Series for 2022 and we are thrilled to be holding it at the rustic, family run Oaken Grove Vineyard just outside of Henley-on-Thames. Come along and enjoy a relaxed ride around a fully signed route after which you can look forward to tasting a selection of Oaken Groves wines from their beautiful terrace that overlooks the vines, nestled deep within the Chiltern Hills.

Wine tasting will include 2 still and 2 sparkling wines to sample, along with a grazing box containing a selection of local cheeses and cured meats, accompanied by handmade pickle, olives, nuts, cherry tomatoes, fruits and crisp breads. There is even a pizza oven for anyone with a larger appetite (pizza not included in ticket price).

What: Off-road bike ride - with a Gravel bike friendly route option

The Rides: we are offering 2 routes:

Small Glass - Blue graded, suitable for Intermediate riders and Gravel bikes  - 30km (18 miles) with 500 metres of climbing

Large Glass - Red graded MTB ride, suitable for more experienced riders and MTB's - 40km (26 miles) with 970 metres of climbing

Please note: The routes are designed so that optional harder (Red) sections leave and re-join the Blue route, so you can split and re-meet riders (at cafes, pubs etc) even if opting for the different routes.
