Fareham MTB Race RD4 of Southern XC 2021

The SouthernXC MTB Race Series is an annual British Cycling regional championships that has a long history, stretching back for over 20 years.

We focus on making Mountain Bike Racing fun, fair, accessible and enjoyable for all who want to join us. We try to design courses that are “easy to ride but hard to ride fast” for anyone with some basic mountain biking skills. Whether you are a seasoned XC racer or your new to riding mountain bikes, we hope you’ll have a blast at a SouthernXC MTB Race.

We have categories for everyone, with British Cycling national ranking points available in many. If it’s your first time racing your mountain bike then have a look at the Fun or Open categories.

The Course

Hollywell Estate is a new venue for SouthernXC and although home to some running XC races this will be the first mountain bike race to take place at the venue.

The location is fantastic with the event village situated on a beautiful grassy area nestled in a valley of woodland, so we’ll have several trips back through the race village and loads of opportunity for spectators to cheer on their riders.

We’re really excited about getting the tools out and getting creative building this course.
