Heaven of the South is an annual charity mountain bike event (not race) over either 50km or 75km ('ish) of the Glorious south Cotswold hills. Now in its 11th year, HOTS has raised over £100k for local charities, and continues to be one of the best events on the mountain bike calendar.
There are hundreds of miles of excellent singletrack around the HOTS base which we locals ride week in, week out, but on the HOTS we’ve sought permission from local landowners to use paths and tracks we guarantee you’ve never ridden before.
There are marshal points around the course to top up your water, some have flapjack too. And special marshals in special areas dish out the (free) special "isotonic" cider.
Full course details will be given out upon registration at the event.
We have a huge, flat campsite with plentiful showers and toilets. On the Saturday evening there is entertainment. And a bar.
