We've been working alongside Trek Bikes for many years, and every season their bikes get better & better. Whether you want a mile-munching marathon bike, and enduro weapon or the latest electric bike, Trek have a bike to suit you, and this is your chance to put them to the test. With our own staff and Trek experts on hand, this is the perfect event to see how the newest technology and design can improve your riding.
Each day of the weekend is split into two sessions. The morning is 09:00 to 12:00 on a first come first served basis, there will be a limited number of bikes so there might be a wait depending on the bikes and size needed. This session is aimed at riders either trying to decide between sizes or models of bikes or just curious to see what a newer modern bike feels like. We he have a small 45 minute loop set up which takes rides up the very first climb at Glentress then they have the option for either taking the Blue, Red or Black graded trails back down which will allow them to get a good feel of how the bikes ride. No booking is required for this session.
The afternoon session is a little bit different. Riders pre book onto a specific bike and then Alpine Bikes guides take them for a 2 to 3 hour trail bike ride utilising some of the best blue and red graded trails at Glentress. This session is aimed at riders wanting to take a bike out on a longer ride so they can get a better feel for how the bike rides on more challenging terrain. You must be comfortable riding red graded trails to take part and any riders under 18 must have an adult with them at all times. We would like riders to arrive with us at 13:30 and be ready to leave for the ride at 14:00. Bookings for these sessions need to be made by contacting the store either by email or phone.
