We would like to introduce you to a unique and first of its kind for Scotland, The Scottish Women’s Enduro - a women's only event

Our ethos is to show off the excellent skills of women mountain bikers both from Scotland and the UK as whole, as well as encouraging those women who have never raced before but can shred with the best of us, to come and give it a go! These trails aren't trail centre blues but full natural trails and demonstrate the excellent mtb'ing available in this area of Scotland.

The Full version includes 5 timed runs; the Lite covers 3 timed runs. These categories will reflect the ideal of this event that women new to racing will feel able to participate fully, while seasoned and elite riders will have counterparts to challenge them and trails that will give the full buzz of a race worth riding.

Entry will include free camping from Friday night at the Monymusk event field, there is a bar provided by Tempest Brewery on Saturday plus a DJ. The event field will have a festival feel with local bike industry stalls, sports massage provision as well as fun jumps and ramps to play on. You will also be able to find out about local bike initiatives with DMBiNS and Gravitate in residence. The list of sponsors and supporters will be regularly updated on our Facebook page but will include, Bird Bikes, Juliana Bikes, Cycle Highlands, 20Twenty Bikes, Bike Remedy, 2Birds, Adrenaline Uplift, Dirt Vixens, Ride in Peace Adventures, Aspire Performance Coaching, Ride Out Coaching, CRC Contracting, Borderline and Bark n Ride.

Our supporters have been generous in providing prizes - there will be 1st-3rd places in each category, each receiving a unique locally made trophy plus a prize worth racing for, plus there will be spot prizes to give away, categories and judging to be undertaken by the marshals and SWE team!

It doesn’t end there – on Sunday Bennachie Bike Bothy will be holding a demo day with Bird Bikes, Juliana bikes and a range of other British  independent bike brands on show and ready for trying out! Plenty of time to recover from Saturdays celebrations before your journey home.

This is a non profit making event – any funds raised will go to support the Aberdeen Trail Association and local Monymusk playgroup.
