Put your mountain bike skills to the test and take on the tough climbs, mud and rocky terrain of our most technical Off-Road Bike Ride – sure to challenge even the most experienced riders! Whilst it won't be easy we can guarantee it'll be worth it. With the adrenaline pumping through your veins as you cycle against a backdrop of panoramic views across the beautiful Peak District, aiming for an unrivalled sense of achievement at the finish line - this is a unique adventure that's not to be missed in 2020. Please note: this event is for over-18s only. The Routes 23 mile route (Short non-technical): This route offers an excellent introduction to the rugged riding available in the Dark Peaks. With big hills and stunning views it is a big physical challenge but doesn’t get very technical. Choose this route if you want to test your legs and lungs, more than your bike handling. 37.4km Price: £40 SIGN UP 24 mile route (Short technical): The distance might not be huge on this route, but it is packed with steep, technical rocky trails throughout, both up and down. It certainly punches above its weight. Choose this if you want a tough technical challenge without the huge distance. 38.3km Price: £40 SIGN UP 43 mile route (Long and technical): This route combines both the above routes to create a mammoth ride. It offers not just an eye watering distance and amount of climbing to conquer, but also tackles some of the toughest technical trails here too. Choose this route if you love to push yourself to the limit, both physically and technically. 68.6km Price: £45 SIGN UP Your entry fee covers the cost of organising the event but it's the money you raise that powers our life saving research, we are therefore asking all participants at this year's event to try and raise at least £200.
