Bike Park Wales Monarch of the Park - Round 1

This summer we're excited to be launching our new Monarch of the park race series! Monarch of the park is all about low-key relaxed fun, racing great trails, enjoying a beer and some food with friends…..and of course beating your mates.

Round one kicks off with a chainless competition, oval rings and fancy gears won't help you with this one, it's all in the flow!

Riders who approach the series with a fun-loving attitude will be well rewarded and those taking themselves or the event too seriously risk facing severe punishment.  Our park sponsors have supplied some truly awesome prizes, most of which will be awarded to riders who best embody the spirit of the series, there will of course be plenty of beer awarded as prizing too!  Talking of beer, the £10 race entry will include a free beer at the end of the race, just swap your race number in the café for a cold one.

Registration - Open from 4pm

Practice time - 5pm to 6.45pm

Race time - 7pm to 8.15pm (Order is self seeded)

Podium time - 8.30pm

Uplift - 5pm to 8.15pm (Please note uplift is not included in the ticket price. Single pay as you go runs can be purchased at the uplift pickup point for £5 per run)

Food and Drink - The cafe will be open untill 9pm serving snacks and drinks.

Trail grade - Round one will use a combination of blue and red trails

The actual trails will be kept super-secret until the evening of the event – remember these are fun events and practising every turn 100 times during the week leading up to the event is severely frowned upon, we will be watching…
