Biking Blitz 2018 RD 1 - Ballinastoe, Wicklow

The 8th edition of the exciting Biking Blitz Series kicks off in February 2018 with events taking place in Wicklow, Limerick, Galway and Dublin. The Biking Blitz is a mass start cross country mountain bike event, aimed primarily at beginners but with something for everyone. There are series points up for grabs at each event, with an overall series devised from your best three results from any four events. There are two categories, "Baggy Shorts" for beginners or "Super Pro" for more experienced riders, plus youth categories from U8 to U18. Mountain bike trail centres are used exclusively for these events to ensure a fast flowing course in all weather conditions. So saddle up for the first time or put your training to the test at the 2018 Biking Blitz.
