Round 3 forms part of the Newnham Bark weekender.

As well as the usual Sunday XC race, we have a packed weekend schedule of cani-sport (running/biking with dogs), and the all important Unofficial South West XC Champs.

Why Unofficial?

The official champs this year amalgamates the South West, the East and the South into one big region called The South. We love the South West, and think it deserves it's own champs, so we're providing it. Taking place over Saturday and Sunday, the Unofficial SW MTB champs will decide the winners based on multiple aspects of mountain biking, which may or may not include a MTB time-trial, dirt crit, wheelie comp, and Sunday's XC race.

If you're only interested in the xc race on Sunday, that's ok. You can just enter that bit and still scoop your series points for the South West XC Series.

This round is not a British Cycling sanctioned event, so if you're after ranking points for the regional champs, it's off to Southampton for you. Meanwhile, the rest of us will muck around in Newnham Park.
