A new addition to our calendar for 2016 and for those looking for an extra challenge over the summer something slightly longer than our usual mountain bike events. The event is certainly no soft touch with around 3,000 feet of ascent on the short route and over 5,000 feet of ascent on the long route and taking in some challenging terrain over the Mendip Hills and surrounding area. We’ll be based from Priddy, right near the top of the Mendip Hills, where the routes starts with a short road section towards Cheddar Gorge before we pick up some of the off road trails. The terrain on the ride is quite varied, there will be some road riding to link the off road trails but also plenty of challenging off road terrain including some rocky descents and climbs to test your skills.
