The XC Eliminator (XCE) race Matlock CC organised last year was brilliant fun, so we're super excited they're hosting it again! Cross-Country Eliminator "XCE" races are the newest discipline on the block, combining the speed and intensity of 4-Cross, with the tactics and endurance of XC. Using a 400m-800m length XC course and a knock-out format, each 3 minute heat (moto) sees 6-8 riders going head to head, with your results from the heats determining the top 32 riders who progress to the knockout rounds, until the field is whittled down to 8 riders to contest the final and take the win! You don't need a race license to take part and the series attracts everyone from first-timers to seasoned Olympians! Online entry is available at XCracer.com.
