Midlands XC MTB Series - RD 2 - Harlow Wood

The regional Champs heads to the East Midlands for 2015 and a great new venue! Harlow Wood near Mansfield is the location and Sherwood Pines Cycling Club are our hosts. Inspired by the World Champs, the day will also include a team relay and as it's the Champs there's a singlespeed category! Cross-Country XCO races are held over multiple laps of an undulating circuit and have evolved massively in recent years: Races are shorter and more intense, with power and technical skill now as important as fitness to be successful. Expect everything from blazing fast descents and elevated boardwalk, to technical singletrack and lung searing climbs, giving everyone the chance to shine.
