Votwo South Downs Way MTB Challenge follows the old routes and droveways along the chalk escarpment and ridges of the South Down.

Cost £125 for both days.

Schedule 
Day 1. Winchester to Washington 54 miles
Day 2. Washington to eastbourne 52 miles

07:00 Registration at  the Winnall Industrial Estate  SO23 7RS 
08:00 Start on Saturday 
18:30 Evening meal
07:00 Breakfast on Sunday
07:30 Group 1 registration
07:45 Group 1 starts
08:30 Group 2 registration
08:45 Group 2 starts
17:00 Approx finish and transport back to start point followed by a good kip

Terrain 
Approx 80% off road. The South Downs Way route follows the old routes and droveways along the chalk escarpment and ridges of the South Down. Its a well established cycle ride and provides some stunning scenery, as well as over 10000 feet of climbing with some exciting descents. Route maps will be issued and course navigation remains the responsibility of the entrant. However.......there are a lot of very clear signs marking the route. Amazing navigational skills are not required just a bit of conmen sense!
