Why Undo All That Hard Work?

There's something contradictory about having a hard work out and then drinking a sports drink that's packed with additives – whether they’re preservatives and emulsifiers or artificial flavourings, colourings and sweeteners such as Aspartame.
That's where the isotonic drink 'Taut' comes into its own.
Have a scan of Taut’s back label and you won't spot the usual roll call of guilty additives found in many other sports drinks. Instead, there's nothing but the purest of ingredients, including lemon juice, fruit flavours, Vitamin B6 and minerals. These create a balanced drink that’s not only full of natural flavours but is great tasting and highly effective at re-hydrating and re-energising your body when it most needs it.
In addition, Taut has a satisfyingly light taste which allows for easier consumption during exercise.
It's the official sports and energy drink of the British Triathlon Federation – the governing body of the fastest growing sport in the UK – and is also officially endorsed by Sir Matthew Pinsent, the quadruple Olympic Gold Medallist rower.
He said: "Training for a strong and healthy body means a lot of hard work and care over what food and drink you consume. By choosing Taut, you can support your hard work by re-hydrating with a sports drink that contains natural flavours, natural colours, no preservatives and no aspartame."
Taut comes in a range of four delicious still flavours – including an 'Endurance' variant which is designed specifically for extended exercise or sports sessions of over an hour and a half.
Orange & Mandarin – the fresh citrus taste of Orange balanced with the refreshing sweetness of Mandarin.
Cranberry & Blackberry – a crisp combination of one of the most popular drinking fruits of modern times and a classic.
Goji & Pomegranate – the sweetness of Goji berries from the Amazon blended with the rich flavour of Pomegranate.
(Each of the three above flavours contains 119kcal, 26g sugar, 0% fat, 0% saturates).
Lemon (Endurance) – aimed exclusively at more serious athletes and those who exercise for over an hour and a half; this contains an additional five more vitamins and some much-needed electrolytes – namely, a carefully balanced mix of potassium (70mg) and sodium (20mg).
(Taut Endurance contains 98kcal, 24g sugar, 0% fat, 0% saturates and 0.4g salt)
Taut is available in 500ml bottles from major gyms and supermarkets, with an RRP of £1.09.
